Food distribution · Early July 2026
Getting food to the people who can use it often depends on people working together across different organisations. Collection, transport and local connections are all part of that work.
The photographs below show food sent to IP17 GNS Social Supermarket and a separate donation to Wardens Trust. Crates of potatoes, vegetables and other supplies were loaded ready to go — practical examples of sharing resources across our local network.

These are examples of the practical cooperation behind Project40Seven. Food has to move from where it is available to where it can be put to good use, and an extra pair of hands or help with a collection can make a real difference.
Our own food services sit alongside this wider cooperation across East Suffolk Coastal. The Leiston Pantry offers subsidised shopping, while Leiston United Church Food Bank provides emergency food support. Working alongside other organisations helps resources reach further.
Meet more of the organisations involved on our Partners & Supporters page, or explore our food and community programmes.
